Give your views on our 2026-27 Budget. Every year, we set a budget to ensure local services are delivered safely, efficiently and fairly across Lichfield District. For 2026-27 we want to hear from you about what matters most, whether it’s waste collection, parks, housing support, leisure, or planning.
Why your feedback matters, although the district council element of your council tax represents only about £3.80 a week for an average property, your views help shape where that money is spent, how it is prioritised, and how we can deliver better value.
In 2025-26, we will spent around £15.8 million on net services (after income) under the District Council budget. These services include: waste collection, recycling, parks and open spaces, planning, housing support, community safety and leisure activities.
Please share your views by Monday 29 December 2025 by completing our online feedback form. Request a paper version by calling 01543 308000 or visiting District Council House. We’ve created a simple, youth-friendly version of the survey for schools, colleges, youth groups and young residents, young persons form.
The consultation closes Monday 29 December 2025, we review and analyse all responses, a draft budget is prepared and presented to Cabinet and Council in early 2026 for decision. We’ll publish the final budget along with a summary showing what residents told us and how we responded
Thank you for helping shape Lichfield District’s future – your voice really does matter.
